Dan joined Racetorations in 2016 after completing a Bachelor Degree in Motorsport Engineering at the University of Central Lancashire, Preston. Whilst studying, the opportunity to work in the industry for a year was offered, Dan chose Racetorations. During this year of employment, he worked in all areas of the business trying to understand the pressures and requirements for each. By the end of the 1-year term Dan returned to University and completed his final year of studies. Early 2016 Dan was offered a position to return to Racetorations in a more senior role when his studies had finished which he duly accepted.
Dan is responsible for the shipping of products globally allied to the online presence of the business, including all website sales. He oversees the substantial CAD drawing library adding his own drawings as required. Also in his spare time, he manages the body shop! Dan is one of the team who can give technical support on our wide range of products as well as offer guidance on original fitment parts by email or over the phone. In his childhood, Dan grew up around TRs and developed an interest in them from an early age.
Out of the workshop Dan is a successful national club racing driver. 2021 saw him become Mighty Mini Champion in his classic mini prepared in his own time, honing his skills on most of the expensive machinery available to him in the Racetorations workshop.

I joined Racetorations in September 2024 and focus on working in the engine shop. Before that, I worked as a welder and built rally cars.
What do you love about working at Racetorations?
The end result of a finished car!

I run a men’s football team, and when I’m not on the pitch, I enjoy working on my own cars.

I won a British championship in Karate.
